Artist's Comments
This is another optical illusion for my Computer Graphics final. This is a Penrose Triangle, an impossible object. That is, it looks like some 3-dimensional object, but it can't actually ever be made in reality.
This, as with everything, was done in C using OpenGL. The math on this one was tremendously annoying; it has been far too long since I've done geometry and trig. So some of the point values were guessed and then tweaked. I imagine a real geometer would have a field day. Either way, it works. |
